Stacey, 25, UK, SEN Teaching Assistant (working progress) at a secondary school, also Mum to a 6 and 7 year old already trying out as teenagers. Head over heels happy and in love with AJ, my aspiring Paramedic and perfect role model to my children.
Alfie before bed tonight asked me “Mummy, how did you know you love Adam, did you just like, look at him and he made you smile??” So I said pretty much (to keep it simple)
After what appeared to be several minutes of thoughtful silence, he said “Mummy..when I die, I want to comeback as a giraffe”

Supposed to be my 3rd week at college - it’s the second week in a row I can’t attend. Bother and bastards.
Why can’t people just keep their word, if you say you will have the children for me from a certain time to help me save on childcare costs that I’m currently not entitled to help with DONT LET ME DOWN. I appreciate the offer but it means nothing if it doesn’t happen.
I have an assignment due in today, I have an assignment on the go that the group started note taking on LAST WEEK so guess who’s behind.
My partner is going to be moving in between now and a couple of weeks. He’s given me the go ahead to put him on the paperwork regarding income to the house but until I get that, I can’t apply for childcare through college which means out of £106 a week that I currently get, as well as all my priority utilities and necessities I have to source £25 childcare. In reality, I’m minus expendable income, and because I’m in voluntary based placements for the next six months with this course I’m not earning with it.
Just for once, I would like a break. I would like for things to go smoothly for me, so I can get a qualification I’ve worked hard for and earn money to keep my family running smoothly.
